Backensholzer Hof

Eyes closed. Mouth opened.

The name „backensholz“ has ist origin in the danish language and means „behind the forrest“ – it is a suiting explanation of the farms location.

In the middle of the northfriesean nature there lies our farm – located between Husum and Schleswig – and is as much the origin of our organic produce as it is our home.

The Farm is in the familys hands for a couple of generations and is currently run by Martina and Ernst Metzger-Petersen with their sons Jasper and Thilo.
